Front mounted shutters

The front mounted shutter may be installed at any moment, as it is installed on the facade.
Our front mounted shutters are a barrier to sound, sunlight, and heat. Also, a deterrent for an unwanted guest, and storms damage. In all of the top mounted shutter systems that we offer there are also versions with a mosquito net, protecting us against intrusive insects, particularly during the summer months.  Not hurricane rated.

The shutter in the box cut at an angle of 45 degrees, installed mainly on existing windows or facades. These types of systems are the simplest solutions in technical and economic terms. The size of the box depends on the whole height of the shutter and the type of armouring. This often determines the selection of the method of installation. The lowered shutter is an additional closing of the hole of the building and is at the same time a barrier with insulation properties. The stiff polyurethane foam, filling the profiles, is an additional thermal insulation. The layer of air created between the lowered armour of the shutter and the window or door makes it difficult to exchange heat between the interior and external environments. It enables saving thermal energy necessary for the heating of the rooms, while on hot days it protects against their excessive heating. There are versions with or without mosquito nets. The version with a mosquito net effectively protects the room against insects, as well as any kinds of pollen, leaves and dirt. At the same time it does not limit access to air and daylight.

The whole shutter box is installed on the building facade. The drive (belt or cord) are conducted through the rear of the
box, then through an opening in the wall into the rooms. We perform this installation after the installation of windows.

The whole shutter box is screwed on a window frame. The output of the drive (cord) is through the window frame.
It should be remembered to insert the shutter box with guides into the window recess.

The shutter box is mounted conversely inside the window recess. Remember that between the shutter and the window there
would be a place for the opening of the revision hatch. Also take into consideration that the curtain is also reversed
(from the outside we can see its back).
